Hansjoerg Riedwyl is CEO and co-founder of ISS, one of the biggest Swiss MedTech service companies. He holds degrees in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration and Systemic Consulting.
He is involved in many innovation projects focusing on the development of business strategies with relation to regulatory constraints.
Peter Studer is Head of Regulatory Affairs at Swiss Medtech, the largest medtech industry association in Switzerland. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering. His professional experience commenced with hip implant development at Mathys Bettlach Ltd., followed by employment at Swissmedic, the Swiss authority responsible for the authorization and supervision of therapeutic products. There, he was first responsible as Head of Market Surveillance, and later on as Senior Expert Regulation and Compliance MD.
Beat Lechmann's current role is Director Innovation R&D at DePuy Synthes in Solothurn which collaborates closely with Johnson & Johnson Innovation. He holds degrees in Precision Engineering and Industrial Engineering with Business Administration. His professional career led him from Netstal Machinery AG to the AO/ASIF RD Institutes, followed by Mathys Medical Bettlach AG and then Synthes. His professional focus is the development of new treatments including instruments and implants for trauma, spine surgery as well as sports medicine.
